Dr. Thomas John V is Co-founder and Civil Engineering Adviser at STRUCTOLYX®. He is a civil engineer, educator and construction-materials researcher who retired as Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Government Maharaja's Technological Institute, Thrissur.
His contribution brings long academic and teaching experience into the interpretation of structural behaviour, material performance, construction evidence, rehabilitation questions and technical records.

His postgraduate and doctoral work at Cochin University of Science and Technology developed around geopolymer concrete and sustainable construction materials. He completed his PhD at CUSAT in 2025, building on research that began during his M.Tech studies and included published work on the properties of fly-ash-based geopolymer concrete.
